NationalSep 9th 2013(Sailesh Gandhi): Sanjay Leela Bhansali is always known for his artsy and crafty creations, films that speak eons of grandeur and gravitas, movies that are ageless yet contemporary classics. But one thing that has always been an issue with Bhansali is the delays.One of the most awaited dramas of the year, with the Nautanki King Ranveer Singh and the Heroine No. 1 Deepika Padukone charming the audiences with their ethnicity, Ram Leela has always been in news.
Initially in news to avoid a clash with Salman Khan’s then-to-be-released Mental and then for the dramatic and the vibrant first look poster that was released, Ram Leela is definitely one film to watch out for. And after a debacle like Saawariya, it would obviously be nice to see Bhansali doing films that he does best: definitive films with a splash of colour, romance and imaginative prevarication.
