India Food Bloggers Association to host the first ever IFBA 2013 exclusive awards
Mumbai Oct 11th 2013(Sailesh Gandhi): The Food Bloggers Association India is set to host a one of a kind awards function – The India Food Bloggers Award 2013 (IFBA) – for the blogger community in the country. The submission and judging of blogs will be a complete virtual process, wherein bloggers can submit their entries to FBAI’s Facebook page. The winners will be announced after their work is meticulously scrutinized by a prestigious jury. Food bloggers all across India can submit their entries on FBAI’s Facebook page until 15thSeptember 2013. The winners will be announced in the first week of October, followed by a small ceremony to felicitate them.
The jury consists of the best names from the hospitality industry with a remarkable experience. The panel includes Chef Sanjeev Kapoor, Kunal Vijayakar, Zoravar Kalra, Rushina Munshaw Ghildiyal, Ritu Dalmia, Rashmi Uday Singh, Sona Bahadur (editor BBC Good Food Magazine India), Hari Nayak, Aneesha Baig, Vikram Doctor and Aditya Bal.
FBAI reports, reviews and disseminates information on food and beverage and allied products, services and events across India. It has been created as a central point of contact, resource and on-goings in India through the blogging community. Understanding the influence of the growing blogger community in India, FBAI thus realized the need to appreciate their work. Also, the ever-growing hospitality industry, the increasing complexity, innovation in food and beverages and a western influence has changed the scenario of Indian hospitality industry. With the changing times the influence of food bloggers, food writers/critics, food stylists, food photographers are now an integral part in the development of this industry and influencing the consumers.

With a keen interest of the best bloggers, chefs and food critics of India we plan to make this a huge celebration for the Indian Hospitality Industry.”
