Mumbai Oct 11th 2013(Sailesh Gandhi): The film 'Vatsalya’ is presented by 'Red Berry Entertainment’ stars actors Bharat Jadhav, Ruchita Jadhav, Priya Gamare, Vijay Chavan, Deepjyoti Naik, Bhagyashree Desai, Prashant Vichare and child artist Vaibhavi Khade.Crewof the film enlist eminent cinematographer Karim Khatri, Vinayak Katkar has done the art direction of the film. Deepak Virkud and Vilas Ranade have edited the film. Prakash Rane has written the lyrics and music is composed by Shrikant Nivaskar.
Actor Bharat Jadhav who is known as the Super star of the Marathi film industry is playing the leading role in the film. Though Bharat Jadav has earlier played serious roles, his role in the film is quite different than any other role he has essayed so far. His character in the film has many layers.
Synopsis:The main protagonist of the film is Dr Sagar (Bharat Jadhav), an eminent doctor in Mumbai who goes to London for further education. In London, he meets a Maharashtrian girl with modern outlook towards life and gets married to her. When they come back to India, his traditional mother and modern wife can’t get along and their daily clashes make Sagar’s life miserable. Sagar is caught with a dilemma whether to take his mother’s or wife’s side. On the other hand his wife Seema, who is also fed up with for the daily fights with her mother-in-law, finally divorces Sagar. But even five years after the divorce Sagar can’t seem to forget Seema. Tired of the city life, Sagar starts living in a small village .He builds an orphanage in the village named after his mother. In the orphanage he meets a small handicapped girl named Chimani. Due to Chimani’s sweet nature everybody in Orphanage especially Sagar loves and cares for her. How the little Chimani brings back joy in Sagar’s lonely life is something you will have to watch on the silver screen.
